Anthony's Birthday Games

I created a "Pin the spiderman in the middle of the Web" type game... a steal off of the Pin the tale on the Donkey.

I also bought a superbowl way clearance footballish game.

Then I had another major clearance of sports artsy projects. It kept all the kids entertained for a while!

Anthony's Birthday Cake

Anthony was VERY proud of his birthday cake. Not only was their the "Good" Spiderman but there was the "Bad Guy" one too! He was less than impressed by whackos (aka family) singing Happy Birthday to him.

Happy 5th Birthday Anthony!- Decorations

I spent most the day Saturday preparing for Anthony's small at home party. It was nice and small yet fun enough! My parents and youngest brother Mark came, Marko's mom and Aunt Dee came, My best friend Brandy, husband Robbie, and daughters Angela and Shania came and then another fried Wendy husband Patrick and kids Mateo and Tabi came.... of of course, Marko, Jayna, Anthony and I!

For his party I made 50 spiderman cupcakes, chicken nuggets, cheese sticks, dad made fruit salad, then I had chips and cheese and crackers and soda and juice boxes. I decorated as best I could in spiderman, even making a spiderman cutain to go through as you enter the kitchen. Then Friday I found an AMAZING balloon clearance at Kroger 50cents for the usually $4 Mylar balloons so I bought one for each kidlet attending! They didn't really match the birthday theme but no one cared! Ant the had Valentine clearnace spiderman goodies that say "You're Amazing". Even Uncle Mark and Poppy decorated themselves... notice the "5" shirts?

Anthony's Birthday at school

So Anthony has a weirdo birthday-- once ever 4 years... lucky lil leap day boy... so I assume it threw his teachers off as until I brought in his cupcakes on Feb 27 (last weekday of Feb) they were caught off guard unaware it was his birthday- ops! But they saved themselves. By the time I picked Anthony up from school at 12, he had a "Happy Birthday Tony" sign hanging on the classroom door and a take home birthday goody bag. Anthony wanted spiderman birthday but fearing the girls wouldn't be such big spiderman fans I made 12 spiderman cupcakes and about 18 "jungle" cupcakes. After all Tony's symbol at school is a Tiger so in the middle I made a tiger dispaly for his birthday! He was quite pleased:-)

Then I worked 2-8 that night. At work it was Brandon's 20th birthday. So I brought cupcakes in for my guys at work too... and lit 20 candles on Brandon's cupcake!! He was a fun sport and they all enjoyed their special treat!

Shoes...

So as I drove to work two weeks ago, on a Thursday I believe... I was nearly to work, and realize I still have my chillin' house shoes on!!! I have no time to turn back, I have to get to work. Thank Goodness the Dollar General started selling black slip resistant shoes about 3 months ago!! Not sure what I would have done without that $15 purchase... sure made me feel crazy!
