Happy Birthday Mateo!

Mateo turned 2 on March 14! He brought it in with a Pajama Party at Kid's Cove-- mostly Sponge Bob themed!

It ended with me climbing to the very top of a 20 ft ladder on my tip toes to save a sponge bob balloon! I love adreniline rushes:-)

Thanks Aunt Rebekah

The kids got their Christmas/Birthday gifts from Aunt Rebekah all the way from Maine!
Jayna got a book, back packs and 3 small stuffed animals- moose, wolf, and bear (book and stuffed anials Maine themed!) Jayna loved her new babies! Anthony got a book, backpack and lobster... err I mean Lobstah! His book was so funny all with Maine slang! The giant Toddlah...

Hope to see you soon Aunt Rebekah!!

Visit to Uncle Zac

We went to see Uncl Zac 3/12-3/14. On Friday night it was raining like crazy which made for a VERY long and dreary drive! We ate at Chili's. Then we saw our first glimpse of flooding. We were in my van and I was unwilling to risk anything so when we got back home Zac and I went out is his SUV seeming many already stranded in waters. Zac made us pancakes for breakfast! Ant and him played airsoft guns! Jayna got to talk to Aunt Rebekah on the webcam too!

Then it was time to go visit Great Nana and Poppy and the fam! We were gunna stop by the local Humane Society and take the kids to see the animals. Due to the crazy bad flooding, 3 ways to the Humane Society and Nana's were blocked. There was only one route left and go figure an accident had it haulted to one lane! So we stopped at Little Beaver Dam to take pcs of rushing water! You will notice in the pretty green pic what it looks like under norm circumstances!

We kept the kids safe out of harms way--- or so we thought but Jayna found a mud puddle face first!
We were fed well at Nana's!! Beef stew, Chilli, spaghetti, peanutbutter cooks and cantelope! It was great to see everyone! But I must mention it was a rare occassion I was glad to be a non beef eater or I REALLLLLY would have been waaay overly full like the boys!

We then went to the mall on the way home!! At last I found my shoes!! I had been looking since before Christmas for perfect shoes (willing to spend about 100) OR good shoes (meaning must have black soles, not white and some orange and good price--- under 50!) I found orange and black hiking nike shoes for only $30!! On the way home we also stopped at Berkshire icecream for homemade hot apple dumplings and icecream!!
Sunday morn Zac made cini rolls and headed off to church while we packed up and headed home. It was great seeing Zac, meeting Remmy--- his dog Remmington, and seeing his house all prettified!

Happy 6th Anthony!

Hard to believe he's 6!!

Anthony had a special Birthday Message this year at my sign at work! Hee was quite excited!

He had a party at Chuck E Cheese with the usual gang-- and then 3 cousins and Uncle Mike.

He wanted a Dinosaur theme as he adores T-Rex... so here was my best attempt on a Dino cake, volcano, river and all..

He was awarded some very special bday boy awards from Chuck... a crown and medal!

He got some great gifts-- GIJoe stuff from Uncle Zac, Ben Ten coat from Uncle Mark Tigers from grandma and a combined gift from the gang of all sorts of paintball supplies and gun and helmet, Wii stuff from us and Aunt Carolyn got him his beloved soccerball, remote control motorcycle, car and gel pens and coloring book! Grandma Pam, Great Nana and Poppy and Aunt Chris and Uncle King sent him money in which we enrolled him in soccer and got him his soccer gear which is what he REALLLLLLY wanted!

Toothless wonders

On Jan 11th, Jayna lost her first tooth and following in her brother's footsteps the next day she lost her second!
Anthony also lost his 3rd on Jan 11th. They follow in a similar tooth loosin pattern. Tony a tad behnd. He lost his first two teeth one day apart right after turning five. Jayna still has 3 months until she will be 5, April 20th.

Snow sucks

I used to like snow.... waaaay back in the day like 3rd grade when it got me out of having to go to Awana, and dad would jump off the roof with us and help us create igloos and we could come inside to mom's homemade soup on the woodburner and hot chocolate....
But now snow means I get stranded at work, I can't see the kids for days, and trying to transform my restaurant into my sleeping quarters as well as being insanely short handed. After Dec's BIG snow I bought a cot just prior to Jan/Feb storms. It worked out perfectly!

The kids did get to enjoy the snow, staying at Poppy and Grandma's. I picked them up 2 days later when I finally go to leave BK. We played in the snow a bit ourselves! Poppy tok them sledding so throw snow balls and climbing trees with me really didn't compare but we had fun anyways!

Since it was so cold it gave Tony lots of time to practice Wii bowling and my little booger is super proud of his "PRO" STATUS AND ALWAYS BEATING MOMMY!
