Someday--- unlikely any day soon... I am going to stay caught up on blogging, but instead I am a month behind AGAIN!
The day after J's party cousin Trish came to town. It was nice spending some time together. Unfortunately my typical closers had prom so I couldn't go to the concert with them as planned (big bummer!). I did get to spend an afternoon with them Saturday and then Sunday as well. After lunch Sunday I took the kids to Roanoke to see Uncle Zac for Jayna's birthday as he couldn't attend her party. We mostly window shopped- The mall, Toys r us, Target, the mall again. I got mom her mom's day gift. An engraved picture frame that was nice. The kids made Build-a-Bears... well actually Tony made "Batman the Dragon" and Jayna made an obese "Yorkie dog" named "Polly". They enjoyed that. I did not as much enjoy supper- ick Ruby's Tuesdays is officially and forever banished from my eating establishments. Tried them once 5 years ago- ew, tried again and other than some good raspberry sweet tea- ew again. The kids loved seeing Uncle Zac<3
Tuesday April 20th was J's REAL bday. I let her wear a special birthday girl badge on her school uniform. Then I brought her cupcakes at school. They were going to be cute lady bugs-- they looked so darling- but Hubs said the icing tasted weird so I quickly bought rainbow cupcakes and took them and juiceboxes to her class. Aftr snack at school they had a special school assembly to watch the Chinese Acrobats, very cool! After school Tony had soccer practice and Jayna played on the play equipment at the Y. We were supposed to do Chic-fil-a as J requested but the line was crazy long so we did TGIFriday's instead. She had a fun birthday I do believe! My baby girlers is FIVE!
