OH NO!! the Ankle Blues

So the lovely and talented ME fell about 5 feet hitting a medal shelf with my ankle AND landing on my ankle at work Thursday night 8-6. I was in quite a nice chunk of pain, pathetically limping, lots of whining, a little picture taking- You know me:-)
So Friday night I was still miserable knowing our serious biking day is Saturday and I've already been lazy two weeks with less riding then usual! So AGAINST both my parents and husbands orders I insisted on riding! To "compromise" we only did the bike trail--- mostly flat, not too bumpy you know a lil precautionary thinking since you know I always have work at 12 on Saturdays! I rode the 2.2 miles to dad's house, 1 mile to the trail, the entire trail about 15 miles... but it was only 10am! That is WAY too early to call it a day so we did 1/2 the train again- 8 more miles. then the 1 mile back to dads and the 2 back home for a grand total of 29ish miles on what was def feeling like a broken ankle... yes I DO exaggerte. And even with ankle issues I still did two timed miles. The first time I just let myself know I was racing the clock and did a mile in 5minutes and 15 seconds. The second time I told dad we were racing and we completed our mile in 4 minutes and 38 seconds!! GO US! I got to work at 12:04 and was feeling rather miserable, but not to disappoint my sponsers... in sickness and in health I will ride on! I am still in need of a little more in donations to help me, my dad, and our team reach our fund raising goal! PLEASE consider donating!

Like my pretty lil ankle:-(

nice cut, nice swelling, bruising has begun

Can you see the difference in my beat up foot and normal foot?
